TransACT ParentNotices is parent engagement software used by school districts and state departments of education to support compliant and equitable parent engagement. Subscribers of ParentNotices can have access to over 200 expertly written and translated notices that have been legally reviewed where applicable to comply with federal education laws. ParentNotices supports administrators in a compliant parent engagement plan and can serve as evidence of implementation in the event of a state monitoring visit.
The August 2021 ParentNotices feature release involves enhanced monitoring capabilities when adding parents and staff into the system.
Easy Upload of Parent and Staff Lists
Adding your parent or staff roster via ParentNotices is easier and faster, improving the list uploading process.
- Add multiple parents or staff into ParentNotices from a spreadsheet
- Encountering errors when uploading prompts a pop-up wizard that indicates what the error is and on what row of your spreadsheet the error exists (duplicate or wrong email addresses or typos, etc.)
Putting staff into the system gives anyone in the district access to the ParentNotices Collection of forms and documents. They can either download notices or send the notices electronically. Districts benefit from having their parent rosters put into the ParentNotices system because parents can then receive notices electronically and provide an e-signature if need be.
For districts that want to make this process even more accessible, ParentNotices can tie into your Student Information System (SIS). SIS integration is provided in partnership with the Global Grid for Learning (GG4L) to enable fast, accurate online delivery of notices in a parent's preferred language. If your district is an existing ParentNotices user but doesn't have SIS integration, pass your district IT Director this integration request form.
