In just one month the 2017-18 school year will end, and districts will begin to grapple with implementing changes required by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). As the end of the budget year approaches, now is the time to leverage remaining unallocated funds to address ESSA requirements in order to stay in compliance for the upcoming 2018-19 school year.

Tina has a B.A. in Education from CSULB and a Masters in Education Policy and Management from Harvard. Prior to TransAct, she worked on education policy initiatives such as the reauthorization of NCLB, Early Implementation of Common Core State Standards, and a city-wide universal Pre-k initiative for Mayor Michael B. Coleman, but her heart has always been with her first job, as a school teacher.
